Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Decatur

At the complementary breakfast my 2 year old was walking to us as we were trying to get his breakfast, upset that his hands needed washed. As I was getting ready to look for a sink he walks into the kitchen and tells the woman working in there about his hands. She proceeds to ask him if he needs his hands washed and pulls out a stool for him to wash his hands. She starts the water and gets paper towels ready for him. It was so sweet and caring!! We will stay again the next time we are through! Thank you so much for helping my little boy wash his hands, it’s the little things!

location was close to things i wished to do while in this area

It was in the perfect location for where I needed to be. Apron arriving the lady at the front desk was cheerful and sweet. The room was clean and smelled amazing. I have never stayed at a hotel that smelled this good. It was clean but not a chemical clean smell, fresh and inviting. The bed was delightful I had the best night sleep ever. I told my husband we needed to buy a bed like that. I had to leave early for a conference I was attending, so I wasn’t able to have breakfast. But my husband indulged himself on waffles, which he said “Hit the spot”. I come to the same conference every year and have stayed other places and this is by far my favorite. I will be booking this hotel again next year.

We arrived for breakfast at 8:30 and there were very few eggs left to eat. No one around to even ask any questions. The only thing in the fridge was milk, not sure if there had been anything else in it like yogurt. Not impressed
